Ever see those things to hang your tv and stereo equipment to the wall in the catalogs? It looks so easy in the catalog...
So they go to work on the wall behind the TV to add a 2 by 4 support in the wall...
See, this is what I mean about how I have to be here every minute and if I am not utterly specific, anything could possibly be misinterpreted even by the most well meaning and intelligent worker will certainly be misinterpreted.
He is busy making a strong support in the wall.
Of the two walls, he has chosen the wrong wall. There was no way to tell in advance, I had to see how the support worked in order to find out the bottom was stationary, only the TV swiveled, and when it did, it covered up one of the windows unless it was on the other wall. So I ended up with two big ass holes in the wall, lots of nice support and the poor guy had to do the work twice.
Before and after the wall hanging. It was well worth the trouble I think. I have to find a place for those wires- and there was one hairy night with half the equipment on the wall and half still on the rickety shelf because the guys didn't realize there was a second piece to hang on top of the first.
